Shiron J. Lindsay
All About Me
Shiron Lindsay has been an educator in Baltimore City Public Schools for the past nine years where she has taught engineering and computer science to middle school and high school students. Her dedication has resulted in many Baltimore students winning STEM awards both locally and nationally. Shiron currently serves as the Pre-College Initiative Chair on the board for Baltimore’s National Society of Black Engineers Professional Chapter.  Shiron is passionate about technology and STEM education. She strives to strengthen the pipeline for minorities in STEM fields throughout Baltimore.  As a College Park Scholar with a focus on advocating for children, Shiron earned her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2009.

Shiron Lindsay is the Pre-College Initiative Chair of the National Society of Black Engineers Baltimore Professionals Chapter where her goal is to encourage youth in K-12 in Baltimore to attend college and pursue technical degrees NSBE offers various competitions, activities, and programs to assist students in discovering how engineering and technology relates to the world around them.
